Our team successfully partnered with a federal agency within HHS to significantly increase their social media presence. Despite facing the challenge of connecting with diverse audience members and stakeholders, we implemented a strategy that effectively grew their following. Initially, the agency had limited presence on social media platforms, with only 40-50K followers on Twitter, minimal followers on Instagram and LinkedIn, and no Facebook following. We focused on growing the LinkedIn following to effectively connect with specific audiences. We also took over four personal accounts of high-level agency leaders to reach out to individuals directly.
Through our efforts, the agency's social media following grew to over 206K across eight distinct social media accounts, allowing us to produce content more efficiently and effectively reach out to target audiences, and we recently launched on Instagram.
