A boutique digital agency built like a senior team.
Strategy, creative, content, video, motion, web, podcast, and research — in-house, tied to outcomes. Healthcare and government work run deep; the same continuum serves every client.
Principles that travel.
Strategy and asset ship together
The team that writes the brief ships the work — no six-month deck without something on the wall.
Receipts before promises
If the metrics can’t be shown, the work hasn’t been done.
Channels don’t win alone
Social, press, web, video, podcasts, and answer engines only work when they ladder to the same outcome.
Models train on what’s public
We engineer for discoverability — by people and by the systems they ask first.
From film to a marketing shop.
Borderline Media Company began as a film production company — partner Scott Schafer wrote and produced feature films including Fatwa and The Way of War. In 2014, Scott, Greg Wolfson, and Michael Peloquin established Borderline as a marketing and communications company.
Video was the starting point. The practice expanded into analytics-first social, web and app development, and content strategy — always aimed at producing exceptional work and telling clients’ stories clearly.
For over a decade Borderline has worked with corporations, startups, and federal agencies — with particular depth in healthcare communications and government outreach.
Boutique. Distributed. DC-anchored.
Client mix spans federal health and primes, healthtech, associations and advocacy, hospitals and policy orgs — plus commercial work across the continuum.
