Meet Borderline

Meet our experienced team of marketers who have been delivering for their clients and government for over 10 years.

Borderline Media Company was originally founded as a film production company, with two feature films, written and produced by partner Scott Schafer: Fatwa and The Way of War, which starred renowned actors such as Lauren Holly, Cuba Gooding Jr., and J.K. Simmons.

Scott redirected his filmmaking skills and experiences and, together with Greg Wolfson and Michael Peloquin, went on to establish Borderline Media Company in 2014 as a marketing and communications company.

The initial focus on video production expanded to include an analytics-first approach to social media management, web & app development, and content strategy. The goal has always been to produce exceptional content for our clients and tell their stories in the best possible way.

For almost a decade, Borderline Media Company has worked with large corporations, startups, and federal agencies to effectively convey their unique messages. One such longtime client has been the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), an agency that operates under the US Department of Health and Human Services, with a mission to produce evidence to make healthcare more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work with partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.

We have partnered with AHRQ to communicate their evidence findings from the studies they fund through print and digital campaigns, videos, and mobile apps. This work in particular has made us experts in healthcare communication, with a unique understanding of the healthcare industry landscape and its stakeholders.

Borderline has continued to grow to serve clients across industries, with a focus on healthcare marketing and communications, providing a wealth of individualized services to our clients.
